Entries for the Soda and Other Breads will have a slice taken from the center, wrapped, and stored safely with the Entry Form for judging on Sunday. The rest of the loaf will be sold by the slice. A single Scone will be similarly packaged, with the remaining scones for sale. So please consider bringing another loaf or two, and a basketful of scones for our Bake Sale. Bring your breads and $5 Entry Fee to the Registration Table. An entry form may also be downloaded by clicking here. Chef's hats on? Please feel free to contact us with any questions at

Duct Tape Competition: Celebrating Chandler’s Centennial!
Winners
1st - Colleen Kelahan-Piersen - Bracken
2nd - Lisa Arseneau – Rose- Richie
3rd – Sophia Promponas – Bracken
4th – Kaelynn Rustenberg - Bracken
Your Duct Tape assignment for this year is to create a "Birthday Cake" for the City of Chandler, which is celebrating its Centennial Year in 2012! Your creation must be at least 80% duct tape, while the other 20% may be other materials. Colored duct tape certainly makes the item stand out. An exception for this year: you may use a cardboard base which will be considered outside the stated guidelines. You may visit the City’s website, www.chandleraz.gov for inspiration. Please bring your creation(s) and $5/entry to the Registration Table and complete the Entry Form or click here to download the form). The "Birthday Cakes" will be accepted beginning 8:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, but must be received Sunday, Jan. 15 at 10:00 a.m., in order to be judged. Judging will take place on Sunday at 11:00 a.m.
For either competition, if you are not present, you will be notified via the contact information on the Entry Form. This is a fun event that non-dancer siblings of competitors - plus the general public - can enter! Please feel free to contact us with any questions at feisinthedesert.ellen@gmail.com.
